How To Use Nomadesk As An FTP Service

Without a doubt, some of you already are familiar with our FolderLink feature.  It basically allows the sharing of complete Nomadesk folders, incl. subfolders, with non-Nomadesk users – yes, those still exist…

So actually, FolderLink works like a very simple, yet robust, FTP service.

Imagine a non-Nomadesk user that needs to send you a large file; impossible  via email.  Here is the trick: you simply create an “Uploads” folder in your Nomadesk Team Fileserver and send your contact a FolderLink with “Allow Changes” switched on – presto!

We made a neat little 2 min. video that demonstrates exactly that.
