This is a maintenance release in which we made important changes and enhancements to the Nomadesk infrastructure and architecture. This new infrastructure allows us to dynamically and without limits grow with the needs of our customers and guarantee an even much higher availability throughout our network. Last but not least, this release allows us to add even more exciting new features in the near future.

What’s new in myNomadesk.com?

  • Usability improvements

Speed improvements – load Fileservers, navigate and browse through your files up to 3 times faster.

Single-click – You can now navigate and open folders and files with a single click (just like links work on a webpage)

Resizing columns – allows a more efficient file browsing experience.

Slideshow – In folders with pictures and PDFs, the slideshow button allows you to automatically enjoy the show.

  • Additional language support

In addition to English, this release includes localized versions of Nomadesk in French and Dutch.

    How far is the feature of keeping date stamps when moving files to Nomadesk?

    Daniel,
    Thank you for your question on date and time stamps when moving Files between your desktop and Nomadesk. The correct dates will be retained but in some cases, when the modification date is newer than the creation date, Nomadesk inadvertently changes this date to the current date and time. We have confirmed this to be an issue and will resolve this in our next maintenance release.
